  Fly to Taiwan, and come to TCU
  1. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Ministry of Education requires every international freshman to obtain permission, before entering Taiwan.
  2. We will keep you posted about the date of checking into your university housing, and the dates on which we will pick you up at Taoyuan International Airport. Please plan your arrival at that time.
  3. After arriving Taiwan, the government will ask you to undergo a 14-day quarantine
  4. Please read the note on page 8 for details.
2/19 Pay tuition & fees
  1. Access http://shopping.tcu.edu.tw/account/ for the tuition bill.
  2. Pay at CTBC Bank, Taiwan Cooperative Bank, or any conveniencestore. (seepage 24)
  3. For your own convenience, you might want to pay tuition and fees from your country:
    • Remittance by Banker’s Demand Draft (D/D) will takes 10 working days before the University receives it.
    • Telegraphic Transfer (T/T) will take 3-4 working days.
    • Mail Transfer (M/T) will take 10-14 working days.
    • During 2/11 to 2/16, banks in Taiwan are closed for the Chinese Lunar New Year holidays

2/22 Spring Semester classes start  
2/22-3/5 Enrollment for Spring Semester courses
  1. Your advisor or study buddy will help out with your course selections.
  2. Access http://enroll.tcu.edu.tw/scaslogin/login.aspx for online enrollment.
3/2-3/13 New Students’ Health Examinations
  • On or before March 13, 2021, you need to ask the University’s Health Clinic to arrange a health exam for you. The exam fee for early birds is NT$850.
3/4 Uniform (recreation wear) pick up & uniform (full dress) measurement
  • For Main Campus students: From 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, go to the hallway between Fu-Tian Building and He-Jing Building.
  • For Jieren Campus students: From 1:30 to 4:00 p.m., please go to the Administrative Office.
3/8-3/26 Confirmation of study list
  1. Online opens 3/8 at 7:00 a.m. and closes at midnight on 3/26
  International Students’ Orientation Meeting
  • Please pay special attention to the announcement, regarding the date, on the OIA’s website.
  • Every freshman is required to attend.
3/20 Due date to submit the Health Examination Form
