Fill in Student Information Form

  • Access http://freshman.tcu.edu.tw/ for the form
  • 7/17-8/25, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Please contact the Office of International Affairs (OIA) or your study buddy for help, if needed.
8/21-8/25

Fly to Taiwan, and come to TCU

  • Please make arrangement to arrive in Taiwan from 8/21 to 8/25, and the OIA will guide you to Hualien.
8/1−8/23

Apply for school housing

  • Fill in the "Application for School Housing" and "Consent to Follow School Housing Rules" manually and send them to OIA.
  • 8/1-8/23, 8:00 a.m. to noon, and 1:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
8/25

Pay tuition & fees

  • Access http://shopping.tcu.edu.tw/account/ for the tuition bill.
  • Pay at CTBC Bank, Taiwan Cooperative Bank, or any Convenience store. (see page 7 )
  • For your own convenience, you might want to pay tuition and fees from your country:
    1. Remittance by Banker’s Demand Draft (D/D) will take 10 working days before the University receives it.
    2. Telegraphic Transfer (T/T) will take 3-4 working days.
    3. Mail Transfer (M/T) will take 10-14 working days.

  • First day of classes
 

Take Chinese Proficiency Test

  • You will take the test online, and we will send you the test date and time by email. Please pay attention to your email.

Please complete the measurements related to your school uniform at the place and time listed below:

  • For Main Campus students:
    From 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., go to the 2nd floor of He-Jing Building (above the lobby)
  • For Jieren Campus students:
    From 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., go to the Administrative Office.
